Huntington Beach surfer and artist Dave Reynolds designed and meticulously handcrafts extraordinary chess sets to exact scale in woods like Hawaiian koa, teak, walnut and California redwood.

A local surf historian with 40 years experience on the board and Exhibits Director at the International Surfing Museum in Huntington Beach, Dave knows his surfboards.

This is Dave's custom designed 20" x 20" bamboo chess board in maple and mahogany bordered with matching raised trim. The 2" square size will handle a lot of different pieces!
